Don't Overwater
9:11 AMI'm on a gardening kick these days. The real reason why is because we bought all of these new plants to help our yard look bold and beautiful and I want to make sure it stays that way. I came across this great article loaded with useful information about how to maintain our yard. I'm the Queen of Overwatering! Not anymore!

7 Gardening Mistakes to Avoid

I'm not much of a gardener just yet. I'm hoping to get more experience with it in the coming years. This spring/summer I planted {for the first time} two tomato plants. Cherry tomatoes and Roma tomatoes. Since the home we live in isn't owned by us, I can't really dig up the land to plant a garden. So I tried to grow the tomatoes in separate pots. Everything was growing beautifully until one day the leaves started to droop and turn brown. So I focused on keeping the soil nice and moist every day to every other day. I got a few nice tomatoes off each of them, but now they're acting like they have no life left to live. So somewhere along the way I must have done something wrong. Who knows... :)

I don't have to worry about over watering. My problem is forgetting to water & then one sad day, I notice my plants have wilted :(

I kill everything....indoor, outdoor, if it is a plan I kill it. Too wet, too dry.....I make all the mistakes.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm in the forget to water camp. Although, with the rain we've had lately, I'm dreading the mushrooms that will creep up in our yard. Any thoughts about those?
