Beef Kabobs

8:29 AM

Grilling season is in full effect!  I found an awesome marinade to use on kabobs.  My husband was super-excited that the kabobs contained MEAT too.  I was a little apprehensive because I’m still learning to love red meat.  These were great with some rice pilaf and broccoli.  I offered my Oldest ketchup for dipping, but she enjoyed it without!  Remove the steak from the kabob and serve to the kids.
The author of this recipe recommends cheap meat, so this will suit your wallet too!  There’s no doubt this is a Gourmet recipe too.  Thank you Ms. Eriquez!
What You Will Need:

1 lb sirloin tip steak, cut into 2 inch pieces
About 6 wooden skewers
What You Already Have:
1 tsp dried oregano
2 T olive oil
1 ½ tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
Dash cayenne
1 T minced garlic
Medium bowl
Plastic wrap
1)      Make marinade.  Mix olive oil, oregano, cumin, coriander, garlic and cayenne in medium bowl.

2)      Add steak to marinade and rub thoroughly.
3)      Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
4)      Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
5)      Prepare skewers with meat.

6)      Prepare grill and cook until done.
