Winning Cookies

7:36 AM

(I couldn't resist on the name.)

You have not tasted a simply perfect chocolate chip cookie until you try this one.  It’s true, this cookie is absolutely, positively perfect.  From the amount of chocolate to the amount of sugar, you won’t believe how wonderful every bite is.  Maybe it’s from the amount of butter in the recipe?  You can never go wrong if a cookie contains the right amount of butter.  (Maybe I should be a spokesperson for Land O’Lakes)
So, I hope I’ve convinced you by now.  Make these right now, you’re crazy not to…
What You Will Need and Already Have:

3 sticks of unsalted butter, softened in microwave for 30 secs
1 ¾  C sugar
1 C brown sugar
1 T vanilla extract
2 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 ¼  C flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
4 baking sheets
Large bowl
Medium bowl
Hand mixer
1)      Preheat oven to 375˚.
2)      Cream sugars, vanilla, butter and eggs in large bowl.

3)      Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda in medium bowl with fork.

4)      Add to sugar mixer and beat until even.
5)      Fold in chocolate chips.

6)      Drop onto cookie sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes.  (Makes 4 dozen)
