You Must Know Spaghetti Sauce

When I was little, I remember going to friends’ houses for lunch and having their mom's spaghetti.  It wasn't spaghetti; it was pasta with some weird sauce and THICK noodles.  My mom made the only "real" spaghetti on the planet.  Looking back, I'm convinced those dishes at friends' house were sauces from the jar.  Please don't do this to your family or friends.  All you need is a crock pot, a few cans of tomatoes and you're set. (Staying true to my red meat fear, I'm using ground turkey.)

What You'll Need:

1 1/2 lb ground turkey (use fattiest you can find), browned
1 (14 oz) can petite diced tomatoes
1 (6 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 clove garlic, minced
1 chicken bouillon
1/2 cup water
1 medium yellow onion
1 T olive oil
1/2 tsp dried Basil
1/2 tsp dried Oregano
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1 Bay leaf
1 tsp sugar
1 box Angel Hair pasta

1)      Heat oil over medium-high heat.  Add onion and sauté until transparent.  Add to slow-cooker.
2)      Add all ingredients to slow-cooker except pasta.  Turn to LOW and cook for 5-7 hours.
3)      Serve with pasta, garlic bread and salad.
